engine tuning
By Alvin Simon Theodore

Your mate might have exactly the same car as you with the same trim levels and exactly the same engine variant. How is it then; his car leaves yours for dead at every single set of traffic lights? Try as you might you just can`t compete even if you seem to set off before him. There`s a good possibility that your mate has been sneaky by not telling you that his car has benefited by Engine Tuning. The ECU on his car might have been remapped so the engine now delivers extra BHP. Talk about cheeky, why not beat your mate at his own game and take your motor to tuning experts who can carry out the Engine Tuning on your behalf. Better still; why not take advantage of mobile tuning specialists who can remap your engine at your home or place of work. It`s not just enhanced BHP and torque levels that can be achieved when the Engine Tuning takes place. Many owners have the service carried out on their petrol or diesel turbo engines to increase the fuel economy of the vehicle. Trained engineers link their laptops direct to the ECU through the engine diagnostic socket. Here they can access the original manufacturer`s maps and then change the parameters to enhance the performance. Have your car`s engine tuned and you`ll leave your mate sitting at the traffic lights as he tries to figure out where your extra power has come from.

I absolutely adored The Dukes of Hazzard as a kid and I`d have given anything to have a drive in the General Lee. To see that 1969 Dodge Charger become airborne was the highlight of my week and even though I could see the wings buckle when it landed, in my heart the General would always be alright. Come to think of it, I have always been a bit of a car nut and I love motors from around the World. The American muscle cars hold a special appeal to me and I`d love to get my hands on a couple of American Car Imports. I wouldn`t mind if it was a Ford Mustang like the one Steve Mcqueen drove in Bullitt or a Pontiac Trans-Am like the one driven by Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit, to me they all are marvelous examples of motoring machinery and should be preserved for all posterity. If my numbers come up on the national lottery this week I`ll definitely be treating myself to some American Car Imports supplied through specialist importers like 51 State Autos. My only problem is I`d be spoilt for choice with their fabulous collection of cars. They have Lincolns and Dodges, Fords and Hummers and they are all fine examples of American Car Imports. I`d certainly be tempted by their stunning Roush Mustangs which could leave miles of rubber on the tarmac. As a kid the likes of the good old Duke boys whetted my appetite for yank transportation. Now I`m an adult I`d give anything for meaty motor supplied courtesy of American Car Imports and I`d definitely be, ?YEE-HA-ING` as I drove along.
